1. Introduction

CeanDoo Studios LTD ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile games and websites.

The data controller is CeanDoo Studios LTD, a company established in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, 30 Ağustos Sokak, Mila Marina Residence No:15, Ofis: 10, Girne / Gazimağusa Serbest Liman ve Bölgesi, KKTC. You can reach us at privacy@ceandoo.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer under the GDPR.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Device information (OS version, device type, unique identifiers)
  • Gameplay data (progress, achievements, in-game actions)
  • Analytics data (session length, feature usage, crash reports)
  • Purchase information (for in-app purchases)
  • Advertising identifiers (for personalized ads)

We collect this information automatically through our games and website (software development kits and cookies) and directly from you, for example when you make a purchase or write to us.

3. Our Website: Analytics, Cookies and the Contact Form

When you visit ceandoo.com:

  • Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics stores the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> (2 years) and receives device and browser information, the pages you view, approximate location and an online identifier. Until you choose, analytics and advertising storage stay switched off.
  • Your cookie choice. We store the choice you make in the cookie banner in your browser's local storage (cd_consent) for 180 days so we do not ask again on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website.
  • Contact form. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, subject, message and IP address by email. We also keep a short security log (time, IP address, email address, subject and whether the message was delivered or blocked) to stop spam and abuse.

6. Third-Party Services and Recipients

We use third-party services that may collect information:

  • Google Play Services (Google LLC)
  • Firebase (Google LLC)
  • Google AdMob (Google LLC)
  • Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), through Google AdMob mediation
  • Yandex Mobile Ads (Yandex), in Crowstastic
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), for our website, only with your consent
  • Our web hosting and email providers, which store the website and the messages you send us on our behalf

7. International Transfers

Some of these providers process data outside Northern Cyprus, Türkiye, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the applicable law provides, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses under the GDPR and UK GDPR.

8. Data Retention

  • Analytics cookies: 2 years in your browser, unless you delete them or withdraw consent.
  • Analytics data in Google Analytics: event data 2 months and user-level data 14 months; the period starts again each time you return to our website.
  • Your cookie choice: 180 days.
  • Contact form emails: 12 months after our last reply, unless we need them longer to handle a claim.
  • Contact form security log: 90 days.
  • Game data: as long as you use the game, and then only as long as the law requires.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including encryption for sensitive data and secure data transmission protocols.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Learn whether we process your personal data, and access it
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Request data deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Know the purpose of processing and the recipients, in Türkiye or abroad, and ask that corrections or deletions be passed on to them
  • Object to a result that is against you and comes only from automated analysis
  • Opt-out of personalized advertising
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing before the withdrawal (on our website, through "Cookie Settings")
  • Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

We answer requests within 30 days and free of charge, and objections in writing within 15 working days. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Board of Northern Cyprus (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu, kvkk.gov.ct.tr), to the Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu), to the data protection authority in your EU country, or in the United Kingdom to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

11. Children's Privacy

Our games are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. In the European Union, a higher national age of digital consent (up to 16) may apply, and we follow it. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us.
